Mileage

As of 1/1/2010 the rate is $0.505 for medical travel.  Last year was$0.55 a mile.  Due to high gas prices the rate from 7/1/2008 was temporarily raised to $0.585 a mile.  The rate from 1-1-08 to 7-1-08 was $0.505.  The rate in 2007 was $0.485 per mile.  The rate was $0.445 for 7/1/2006 through 12/31/2006.  The rate starting in 2001 was $0.34 a mile.
